I enjoyed my stay at Dpaso and would book it again in future. It was a very clean hostel with a comfy and cosy pod. The WiFi was fast and I loved the integrated locker that came with its own key. It was very generous inside and easily fit my 50l backpack and daypack.Two stars are taken for the... following reasons:-I booked directly with them and apart from the confirmation email never received any form of communication from Dpaso. When I arrived I didn’t know that the hostel operated by itself with no reception. At no point have I been given this information that there was no reception and there was a code at the door. I had to make an expensive call to the owner to ask for the access. This doesn’t sit right with me and I would have expected some form of communication before my arrival about this as it is standard even in hostels to have a reception. After a long day on the Camino, you simply don’t want to having to deal with calling someone in a foreign country. I still don’t know to this day the name of the owner and it would have been helpful to also provide the Spanish area code for the phone number at the door. After all I’m the guest and I shouldn’t have to chase after the owner.- I had asked in my booking for a top bed but was allocated a bottom one- The facility is very very small. I don’t think this will work in future. There’s only one small sink unless you use the disabled bathroom which is generous and spacious. I didn’t like having to walk past the “entrance/common/kitchen” area whilst in my pjsOther than that, I enjoyed the place. The owner’s brother Manu kindly came over after my phone call to assist. Nothing was a problem and I was even allowed to use the printer. In future I hope they may find a bigger place to allocate more guests/improve on the service for guests. It would also be helpful to send an email shortly before a guest stay with instructions so they are not left in the dark after a long day on the Camino.leer más

Awesome place with individual pods for each bed which was great. Only a small common room but was still great. The owner was really helpful and accommodation. Would definitely recommend to anyone

Miguel greeted us upon arrival and kept in contact prior to arrival for good peace of mind! He walked us thru everything in this super clean, new condition, well designed Albergue Hostel.My daughter loved the comfy private pod-like sleeping bunks w privacy curtains, soft closing locking storage in... side your bunk pod w a bound 30” L x 4” W shelf above you in easy reach plus usb, led lights and power above your pillow.All these conveniences plus just 4 beds per section make for a cosier/ quieter sleeping environment for my daughter & wife.Throw in how helpful Miguel was w dining suggestions, next town Albergue reservations and co ordinating a pack courier 6€ to Calda da Reis 23km away, and the few extra euros for DPaso is still excellent value and a recommend fr this pilgrim family of three!leer más

Modern and comfortable hostel.2 showers and toilets. A total of seats for a maximum of 20 people. For 2 days that I stopped, there was not a full load, so it is very convenient and without traffic jams.Not far from the center, all nearby. The price justifies itself

Comfortable separated beds with locker. Nice, helpful staff. Small common room and kitchen. Modern, but there is little shower / toilet compared to the capacity.

Very clean and well located place. The bed system is very good and private, for traveling alone or in group. From all the camino de santiago albergues this one has the better conditions. Specially cause have good beds and showers. Also it's near supermarkets and restaurants. The kitchen ia a basic... one but there's a vending machine inside for snaks and beverages. Well the price above average but still ok for what it offers.leer más

I stayed 1 night only, but it was perfect. The owner is very kind and is there for every info you need. Every thing is new and modern and perfectly working. The bed is very comfortable and provided with safe box, shelf, plugs, light and curtain. Even though there's only one bedroom with 20 beds, the spacious layout gives you plenty of privacy and respects the social distancing. Small but great common area and 3 big bathrooms. Washing and dryer machines perfect for the rainy days.This place deserves 5 starts not only for its location and... space but also for the attentive and caring staff. Just to top it off, they booked us dinner at a vegetarian restaurant after a long and tiring day (which in Spain is usually hard to find).leer más

It is a very modern hostel with all the necessary services for pilgrims. In the room we slept in, silence was highly respected and the beds have curtains for more privacy. Everything very clean and the owners very friendly and attentive.

The room is shared, it has 20 beds, and yet the distribution and shape of the beds allows for perfect privacy. The hostel was immaculate at all times, there were people always cleaning. Vim a contar com um sítio sossegado mas tal não aconteceu. Muita gente num sítio muito pequeno. Barulho até às 4 da manhã. Distanciamento e uso de máscaras praticamente inexistente entre metade dos hóspedes, a outra metade, na qual me incluo, foi arejar depois de um longo dia a caminhar.... Decepcionado. Ah, os beliches são muito giros, confortáveis e limpos.Há que realçar a simpatia e prontidão dos simpáticos e acolhedores anfitriões, Miguel e Manu para resolver o problema, acho que ambos tivemos azar com alguns hóspedes dessa noite, que seguramente não vinham para dormir, provavelmente excepcional.leer más

Good treatment and unbeatable value for money. Clean and comfortable I would repeat without a doubt. The distribution of the bunk beds allows you to have some privacy despite being a hostel.

Perfect in every way: good location, good bed and shower, good services and excellent service. I stayed one night in my path doing the Camino and, without a doubt, I would repeat again as much as a pilgrim as if I spent a few days in Pontevedra. I loved its design and functionality. 10 out of 10!

Cleansed. The upper bunks are quite uncomfortable to make the bed. The bathrooms are far from the bunk room, you have to go through the hall and common area, for an emergency or someone who needs to go to the night service has it complicated. Of course, it is surrounded by shops and is quite quiet.

My experience at Dpaso Urban Hostel was unbeatable. Before checking in, I had fluid contact with those responsible for the accommodation who answered all my questions related to Covid-19. Upon arrival at the place, all the necessary security measures were taken to guarantee the correct entry and... they very kindly explained the hostel's amenities to me. To say that the place was impeccable in terms of comfort and cleanliness, very new and with enough space. The most beautiful thing of all was the bond created with the Vidal brothers, who recommended places to eat and walk, encouraged me when the weather was not good and with whom we could talk as if we had known each other for a long time. Each talk with them was gratifying and this is part of the adventures we take from traveling and seeing other places.I recommend 100x100 and hopefully I can return to Pontevedra!leer más

The owners are exceptional, hospitable, friendly and very attentive. I arrived at the hostel today after a very hard stage of the road, I was surprised by the good treatment I received. I have no words .. thank you very much for everything. How could I not walk, they have come to buy me a cane,... they have arranged for me to transport my backpack and much more, the beds are very comfortable, everything is very clean, there are several bathrooms, fridge, microwave and coffee machine, you can't ask for more . Superb hostel for pilgrims! On the camino. Very intimate sleeping cabins and precisely positioned to sleep well. Very good mattress, great shower. Everything is very clean and the owner is very kind and helpful. The decoration is too beautiful, it makes you want to stay longer! I recommend +++

In my case I went for three days for some exams. I found the facilities very comfortable and, in general, everything was very clean. The two guys who run it were very nice to me, pending at all times if I needed something and if I was comfortable. The location is perfect, close to the train and bus... stations, in a quiet area and one step away from the center.I recommend it!leer más
